The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation is monitoring the global COVID-19 outbreak and following the information provided through the World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control, state and local health agencies. The health and safety of our Apollo 13 50th Anniversary Celebration guests and supporters is our top priority. After thoughtful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming Apollo 13 50th Anniversary Celebration Gala, originally scheduled for April 18th at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
We understand and share the disappointment of our guests planning to join us and commemorate this historic mission. ASF will continue to monitor the impact COVID-19 has on our community and determine plans to celebrate Apollo 13 and this mission’s golden anniversary. Updates will be shared with you as they are confirmed.
